The Royal British Legion’s award winning Bravo 22 Company is running its first Recovery and Wellbeing through Art Project. Set up in 2014, the Bravo 22 Company was formed to help improve self-awareness, confidence, self-esteem and motivation in order to move wounded, injured and sick personnel along their individual paths to recovery.
In partnership with The Drive Project and Phoenix Brighton the Bravo 22 Company is now looking for a group of participants made up of wounded, injured and sick service personnel, veterans and their family members who are interested in taking part in this exciting new art project.
This is an opportunity to get involved in something creative, to learn new skills or improve existing skills through model making, sculpture and collage.
No previous experience in art is necessary! Just an interest in art and a desire to do something different.
What is needed from you?
You need to be based in Brighton and Hove and the surrounding areas.
The 4-week project starts on Wednesday 29th June. We are looking for people who want to either:
Commit to 2.5 days a week (Wednesday-Sunday) including one weekend day
Commit to drop in or weekend sessions for families and individuals.
Enthusiasm and openness!
Still not sure?
Bravo 22 Company will be running a Meet and Greet day in Brighton on Wednesday 25th May 2016 where you can gain a deeper insight into what the project has to offer.
